Practice Plans

Sample practice plans which lay out a typical practice session covering
a topic or skill and include recommended drills and time required to
to accomplish each one, are featured in the Guide.  The practice plans
can be printed, which makes them even more useful.

   Coaches Notes

The "Hows" and "Whys" of baseball are presented in Coaches Notes,
pop-up windows that are available for most topics.

   Problem Solvers

Problem Solver guides help identify and correct problems in various
skill areas, such as hitting and pitching, by showing examples of the
incorrect action, and explaining how to correct it.

   Beginner and Advanced Topics

Topics which relate to the beginner or to more advanced players are
specially marked and indexed for easy reference.  From T-Ball to
the older divisions, the Guide has material to cover it.

   Definitions of Terms

A special glossary, which contains official terms, scorekeeping termi-
nology, and even baseball jargon, from a "can of corn" to the "Mendoza
    Line" is included.

   Online Contents and Index

A  printable table of contents is available online.  Just find the subject,
click it, and the system takes you to the right place in the CD-Textbook.
The online index is searchable and also links directly to the topics in
    the CD-Textbook.

   Bookmarks and History

A handy bookmark system is included to help you return to a subject
for further review.  And, the system keeps up with where you have been
as you follow the hypertext links through the CD-Textbook so you can
easily go back to any point, even all the way  to the starting point.

   Online Help

Every feature and function is documented in an online help system.
The helps are "context sensitive" so that you are always shown the
right help at the right time.
